ArtLingo is an educational app designed to help users learn about artworks, artists, movements, and art history through quizzes and discovery tools.
All content is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
ArtLingo is intended for a general audience. If you are under the age required to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction, you may only use the app with parental or legal guardian consent.
The app may allow you to track progress such as streaks, accuracy, completed sets, favourites, and notes.
These features are provided “as is” and may change over time. We do not guarantee that progress history will always be available.
Premium subscriptions and free trials are processed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system.
Payments, renewals, and cancellations are handled by Apple. We do not store your payment details.
ArtLingo displays artworks sourced from publicly available collections, including public domain repositories and works made available under Creative Commons licences.
Where content is identified as public domain, it is presented as such based on the source’s information.
Where content is provided under a Creative Commons licence (for example, CC BY), ArtLingo provides attribution as required by the applicable licence, which may include:
ArtLingo does not claim ownership of any third-party artworks or images displayed in the app.
If you believe content has been included in error or infringes your rights, please contact us and we will review and, where appropriate, remove the material.
Unless explicitly permitted by the applicable licence, you may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, publish, or use artwork images from the app for commercial purposes without permission from the relevant rights holder.
While we take reasonable care in sourcing and attributing artworks, ArtLingo makes no representations or warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or legal status of third-party content.
The app and its content are provided on an “as is” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArtLingo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
